Master, Our HE4t was great. Lately, it shakes about and moves across the floor just like it shouldn't. I have double check and leveled the beast and all of the jam nuts are tight. I admit, I am a grasshopper, but how can I check if the shock absorbers are working properly?. I have removed the front cover beneath the door, and there appears to be some small plastic shavings/scrapings beneath each of the 4 shocks. I haven't removed the back panel yet, but don't see anything beneath the back pulley on the bottom of the washer. Please help. Thanks, Steve

They may just be plum wored out and need to be changed. Some tips on that here: http://fixitnow.com/wp/2006/04/06/removingreplacing-the-shock-absorbers-in-a-kenmore-elite-he34-and-whirlpool-duet-washers/

It doesn't appear that any parts are broken. I guess they could be just plum owred out. Your link shows RC #1173231 as the replacement shock, but when I type in the model # RC #1200351 comes up. Are these parts interchangable?
