I have been reading as much as I can about this washing machine, but I am not sure if my problem is the same or different than others mentioned in the forum.  (I mean my washing machine's problem!)  If I try to wash clothes with the regular cycle, we eventually hear the thing beeping every second as though it is off balance.  I have tried the unplugging trick, but it doesn't work.  I have also done the diagnostic testing and never seem to get a pattern of lights that is like any on the reference sheets.    Seems like the washer is filling a little, draining a little, agitating a little - over and over again - for a long time, then finally starts beeping.

Somewhere in the forum I read a comment that said "Try the permanent press cycle".  I did, and this cycle works fine. I also replaced the diverter valve (with help from a great YouTube video), and the washer worked fine on regular cycle for about 4 loads, then went back to the same problem.   I am now considering replacing the pump, but not sure if that will even solve the problem.  I do have a copy of the diagnostic testing info, but haven't come up with anything from doing those tests.  I would like to use the regular cycle again someday - any suggestions?
