Well, now I have a new problem with this lemon. Probably my own fault for washing some kitchen rugs with decaying rubber backing--which fell apart in the wash. That's when this issue began. On spin cycle...the machine "tumbles" back and forth, short cycles...then starts going fast for about 5 seconds...does this about 5 (or more?) times with silent "rests" in between---and the clothes are still soaked. If this action is typical, then I assume my pump/filter is clogged. How do I get into that to clear it out? I don't want to spend mucho $$ to have someone do what I can do myself. Especially since I don't have mucho $$! :-( Help/insights greatly appreciated! |

THANKS! That's what I needed! Man...what an impacted filter! But putting that clamp back on-- behind the black block of the drum...they sure don't plan these things for service! |
