hi first time here i hope you can help me.

I have a maytag neptune i bought in 1999 and had a few problems with it but all fixed under warrenty. I can go on with what was fixed but dont want to bore you.

so years later now the washer is making a grrrrrrrr grrrrinding really loud sound!!

and sounds like it's going real slow almost like the motor is going. is this a belt drivin or gear drivin motor front load washer? i havent taken it apart yet. ... Help?
my modle is # mah4000aww.

The motor is fried.  There's a TCL out on this, see the attachment.
