I have tried to reset by disconnecting the powercord for 1 minute and restarting. Washer then picks up from where it left off but does the same thing on next load:(

At what point in the cycle is it beeping? What is the error code? Open the control console and find the tech sheet- it'll tell you how to interpret the error codes and how to put the washer into diagnostic mode.

Venerable Master,

Please forgive stupidity of this lowly grasshopper.
I have opened the control panel and looked, I opened grey control box as well but found no tech sheet.

The problem occurs after the wash cycle during spin, the red spin light "flickers" and the 2 center green lights glow steady during 1 second beeps. After power is restored after a 1 minute pause. the cycle continues and finishes.

This F & P Washer is Mod # GWL 10US S/N CUN617699

Turn machine OFF on the front panel.  Hold down the Water Temp Down button and press the POWER button. Release buttons. You are in Diagnostic mode. Press the spin speed up button until the hold and slow are lit.  Write down the LEDS which are lit across the top row of progress LEDS. and post back.:D

Does this need to be done during the cycle that the problem occurs? Because I turned the power off, pressed the temp down button pressed power on received 2 confirming beeps, released both buttons and pressed the spin speed up button until both slow and hold were lit and there were NO lights lit across the panel other than hold, slow and low water level.:?

Check your water pressure,if it doesnt fill quickly enough it will beep, if your hot water isnt hot enough, quickly enough, it will beep. Check you pump outflow, if it is not quick enough, it will beep. Does the beeping happen during a rinse or on the spin light?

Preasure is good, Water temp good. outflow seems ok how do I check if the pump is putting out maximum output?

This seams to happen at the end of the 1st. wash during draining before spin.

Check out this thread, I think it might be your problem.  Possibly a faulty valve, but have a look.;)     http://applianceguru.com/forum2/1816.html

If the water outflow appears to be at a reasonable rate it is unlikely the drain cycle is your problem.

The absence of a fault code points toward a user warning and I would be suspicious of the balance switch. Best way to check the switch is to remove the screw securing the main controller. Lift the controller and underneath at the right hand end is the balance switch and lever. Check the terminals for any sign of oxidation . If there is you need to fit a kit that comes with a moisture proof switch. Part number 420313. If you are not sure you can bridge the two wires that go onto the switch together and then try the machine through a cycle. If it still faults you have at least eliminated the switch as a possibility. If it goes ok then replacing the switch should solve the problem.

An alternative move would be to test the machine with the restart function turned off. To do this turn the machine off at the wall for 10 secs then on again. Hold temp down and press power. You are then in diagnostic made. Push level down once so the low light goes off. Press power and all the lights go out but the green wash progress lights will be flashing. Then turn the machine on and start it as normal. If it detects a fault it will immediately stop and start beeping and you can then go back into diagnostics and check the fault code. To turn the restart on again just turn the machine off at the wall for a couple of secs then on again.
