That haunt the corridors of this set of Forums. It was a year ago this month, after having been rendered unable to work for nearly a year due to a spinal cord injury that I discovered this group.

It was at this time that the drive coupler decided to give up the ghost in my Whirlmore DD washer.With funds nearly non- existant, and my physical abilities at the same level, this was a REAL BAD THING.

By perusing the archives, downloading the video complete with sound, a diagnosis was made and the part obtained.Given my state then it took me a week's worth of fifteen minute sessions, several times a day to get it done, but I prevailed.

I'm not much better now, and probably never will be. But a smile still spreads across my face whenever I think about that 'victory' in the face of continuing adversity.

And I have all of you to thank for that.

Domo.

RJ

     It would have to be of the "Stop Action" or "Slow Motion" variety.<G> Most folks wouldn't sit through watching something that slow. Similar to  watching paint drying or grass growing.

     It is an honor to be so honored. As time goes on, it will be revealed how I have been 'blessed',(or cursed<G>;) by my life's path being crossed by household appliances from an early age...............

But all in due time.............{To this day I still despise Norge® appliances.}

The ultimate quest has no ending, and that fact is what gives the quest its ultimate value.

You have a great perspective.  Best of luck on your journey...
