Hi evryone, Washer is loading water, washes and spin. just right about advance to rinse cycle a FH code blinks and washer stop functioning. I have searched the the net for service manual and service access code but no avail. Machine is less than a year old. Checked hose for kinks, ok. Water inlet valve screen, ok. Water loading into the tub no prolem. There is a service manual that i stumble upon but not for this particular model it's for Maytag Neptune. Can i apply the service access procedure in this model?. See the Link please. http://appliancehelp.hypermart.net/16010061new.pdf Any ideas or advise is greatly appreciated. Regards Jtech1111

that service manual is for a neptune. totally different machine. lucky for you if you are sure water is coming it at a good rate problem could be water level switch, flow meter, or CCU. youll find a tech sheet if take the front bottom panel off. my guess is water level switch

Hello fellas, Good news, I have eliminated FH error code. Thanks Regus, Epic tech sheet helps. After reading that thoroughly, I ran the diagnostic test and FH appears right after C:03 on the middle of diagnostic. So I opened it, inspect flow switch, level switch and hoses, Pegi and NCSU suggested. Looks ok..hmmm...maybe bad connection on the wire harnesse, so I unplug, inspect, before plugging it back blow it with contact cleaner. Recheck for possible loose wire connection. all ok. After this tedious process, I redid the diagnostic test once again, not securing the covers yet. Let the test program do its job and voala! C:00 to C:08 advanced all the way without FH appearing again. Put a test load till it finished the entire cycle, FH appeared no more! My conclusion to this was loose wire harness due to vibrations. maybe. Thanks guys, could have not done it without your kind support. My love and support is always here in this forum. Any advise on how to protect appliances with electronic controls from power spikes and surges? We have a lot here. power outage 10mins mostly. Mahalo and warm regards to y'all. DIAGNOSTIC TEST The washer must be empty and the control must be in the OFFstate before pressing the touch-pad sequence to start the test. Starting the Test Mode ■ Close the door.■ Push CONTROL/ON (if present on this model).■ Select the DRAIN/SPIN cycle.■ Select NO SPIN by pressing the SPIN SPEED touch-pad.■ Push PREWASH OPTION four times within five seconds. (IfPREWASH OPTION is not present on this model, press RINSEHOLD four times within five seconds.) C:00 will light up on thedisplay. If the Starting procedure fails, push the PAUSE/CANCEL touch-pad,then repeat the starting procedure. Test Program Control In order to advance to the next step of the test procedure, push PREWASH OPTION touch-pad two times. If PREWASH OPTION is notpresent on this model, press RINSE HOLD two times.

All appliances with electronic control boards (which is just about all modern appliances) should be protected with a surge suppressor, just like you would do for your computer. Go to the hardware store and but a plugin surge suppressor. Best $7 you'll ever spend.

Hi fellahs, I have resolve this already but yet again for some reason occasionally FH code comes back. I instructed the owner to do the self diagnostic test procedure which I taught them to do from my last visit. After self diagnostic was done and no problem detected, it is ok again. I told them that i will inquire what is the posible cause for this. Any theory or opinion? Thanks regards / jtech
