It started out intermittent - so i blamed my daughter for not setting the dryer to run long enough... runs fine (replaced motor last year with your help) just won't heat. ducts and vent are completely clear. Will sometimes fire up for a minute, just warm, then heat shuts off. Family of 5 needs this mule workin' fast! please tell me what to check first.

Replace the gas valve coils. Fun, easy and cheap.

I agree with AccApp

Gas Valve Coils get intermittent, and sometimes only work for a few minutes.. then open internally until cooled..
