Hello! Suddenly I'm getting a "mac os error code -50" whenever I try to open a wmv attachment from an email. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

Have you played wmv files before on this mac?  If not, you probably need to install an application or codec that can handle this format (e.g., flip4mac, windows media player for mac osx or vlc).

Yes, I have had no trouble before playing files on this computer before. I don't know exactly when it happened, but I recently did some updates for software already on the computer if that's any help.

Maybe you had a wmv plugin for quicktime installed and then you updated quicktime.  Maybe you should try flip4mac (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/flip4mac.mspx)
