Have you ever tried the free version of WinPatrol ?

It's an all-purpose utilty and can check / edit your start-up programs.

I've been using the Plus version (one-time fee) for a few years with great results.

Might try reinstalling *with* the fax stuff, then uninstalling it again.

Zip-zilch-nada. Have uninstalled/reinstalled everything, still getting error & spooler issue has re-established itself.

And the error IS IM32FAX.DIL, NOT DLL...as in "Digital Imaging Library".

About ready to take it into the shop.
