Recently, my Whirlpool DU1100XTPS7 dishwasher stopped draining. I siphoned most of the water out and went to work. First, I disconnected the drain hose at the disposal and cleaned out some gunk before reconnecting it. Next, I disconnected the other end of the drain hose underneath the machine and blew the remaining water through. It seemed like both methods cleared out a decent amount of gunk, so I was optimistic it would work again when I turned it on.

No dice. The dishwater began to overflow a little mid-cycle, so I stopped it and hit the "off/drain" button. It sounds like the pump is trying to work, but nothing happens.

My biggest problem is that I'm now dangerously close to bumping against my personal mechanical limits. Looking under the dishwasher, the only visible screws appear to be torx screws, which doesn't inspire confidence in me.

What is my next move?
