The past few days I have heard a soft buzzing sound for a few seconds, it seems it was happening right before the refrigerator started running. Now the buzzing is louder and happening more often. I just checked now and the food in the freezer is beginning to defrost.

I need your SERIAL number to see if your refrigerator is covered by a recall. There is a recall on the part that has failed on your refrigerator, but only certain serial numbers are covered. Report back to us so you can get this problem fixed for free if it is one of the models under recall. Last edited on Sat Nov 21st, 2009 06:07 am by Scottthewolf ____________________ Scott Wolf |

Recall or not, from what I'm reading here it sounds like a bad relay/overload.
