Customer called and said the water was standing in the tub. Went out and looked at it, unit did not have a high loop on the drain line. Made one, ran it and it worked fine. Got a call back this morning and said it was doing the same thing, ie sink was over flowing. She did not tell us that the first time. Any way the drain line is run into the garbage diaposal which hasn't worked since they have been there. But would a bad or cloged up disposal cause this?

If water from the tap won't drain down the disposal, then water from the dishwasher-- which emptied into the disposal-- won't drain either. Probably gookus stuck in the P-trap or further down the pipe, like in a sag or at another connection. Undo the drain connection from the disposal and disassemble the p-trap. These are all screw on connections. May find the clog right there. If not, then use a plumber's snake to see how far down the rabbit hole goes.
