Oh great one, again I come bearing beer and ask that your great knowledge flood my dishwasher. At work we have a Kitchenaid KUDP01FLSS6. It works well but it quit draining fully after the wash cycle, there is around an inch or two of water in the bottom. Is there a filter I need to clean out? It looks similar to my Bosch inside but does not have a similar filter setup. Suggestions oh great one?

Filter plugging doesn't usually cause drain problems in this one. As Sublime Master kdog suggested, check the end of the drain hose, it can get gooktified creating the common dishwasher malady plugus drainhoseus (that's a scientific term for use by us highly trained professionals only-- please do not use it at home as I cannot be responsible for your safety). If it's clear, then hop to the other end of the drain hose and ease if off the drain pump port. Use a drip pan. If water start to gush out, then either: - the drain pump is not working (jammed, no power, etc.) - the drain hose is plugged, do the pucker up and blow thang to check it.
