Bottom freezer frosting over on back wall- pulled away from wall 3 wks ago to vacuum back....just pulled toe plate off front tonight and vacuumed up LOTS of dust- everything was covered...found mechanical timer that i learned about on another post. Can't tell what direction i need to turn it in to get my freezer working properly. For the last two months the back wall has frozen completely and thawed all food and warmed fridge above. Let freezer sit open and empty to completed defrost about a week ago and it's been running, but started frosting back over. any ideas??

clockwise ... Definitely a Defrost problem .. you'll need to remove the back wall inside the Freezer to look at the Evaporator Coils and Defrost Heater, etc ... BRD18V2E Tech Sheets BRD18V2E Service Manual

when turning the Defrost Timer, when Compressor clicks OFF, the Defrost circuit should be active ...

Finally got around to taking the back of the freezer apart. The defrost limiter is not puffy at all. Looks to be in good condition. Any other suggestions?

Does not have to look puffy to fail, measure continuity(with fridge unplugged and coils cold), should be closed if cold
