Put your hand on the compressor. do you feel it running? If not, do you hear an occasional buzz and a click coming from the relay?

I am going to make a wild guess here, and think the compressor is not running.  If by chance it is running you have a system problem.  If the compressor is not running, unplug the refrigerator, remove the relay/overload from the left side of the compressor, and shake it hard.  If it sounds like there is sand or gravel inside, the relay is bad.  Good luck.

H.

I replaced relay, do I need to replace overload too? (to be honest I worked a double shift and wife ran to parts store and only came back with relay)When I replaced it seems awfully loose.  The fan is the only thing running absolutely nothing from the compressor its not hot to the touch it is sitting there doing nothing.  Thanks for reading this and thanks for the help so far.

perhaps you have the incorrect relay, or your compressor is pooched, measure the windings with an ohmeter, you never did tell whether it was running or not ..........

also measure Over-load for continuity

they have these meters, normally $ 4.99, w/battery

but sometimes on sale for $ 2.99
if on sale, print sale page and take to store
