My Fisher Paykel DD603 dish drawer stops about 30 minutes into its cycle. It will be washing normally and then beep, the lid motors release, and it gives the repeating two-beeps intermittently just like someone had pushed the pause button on the front panel. It will start up again but usually stop itself within two minutes. Once, it sat all night after pausing itself and when I started it in the morning, it finished the cycle. It does not seem to have an error code but I have the style drawer without the digital read-out so I'm not 100% positive. I have had the leak issue in the past and I know what the error for that looks like. I have done some work on this machine including replacing the lid motors for both drawers. The problem is only with the top drawer, the bottom one seems to work fine. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

| Replace the links with the rod link retro kits if they are the old plastic links. It's worked everytime for me so far with this problem.

| Thank you for the advice, I will try that and see if it does the trick.

Is your unit an integrated model? (front looks like the rest of your cabinets?)

| Yes, the dishwaher has wooden drawer fronts and the small oval control panel with the three little buttons and single LED above the center Start/Pause button

| I replaced the link support with the retro-fit kit but the dishdrawer still stops mid-cycle. There is water in the tub and it does a double-beep every few seconds. If I hit start again it will start briefly and then stop. There doesn't appear to be any water leaking in the top chamber but I didn't pull the bottom drawer out to look below yet. From my experience, once water gets in the bottom, both drawers stop working and the red led comes on. My problem is with the top drawer only. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

| If you look on the right side of the tub just below the top you will see two holes which allow the control board to send light out and receive it back via a prism in the side frame of the unit. Make sure the control board is properly positioned and that the prism in the side is where it should be.

| Thank you for that tip. I checked the prism on the top (malfuntioning) drawer and it looked dirty compared to the one on the bottom drawer. I took it out and cleaned it and when I put it back in the drawer ran through the cycle without stopping. I have only run it once so I will over time see if that was a lasting fix. I assume the prism and light holes are detecting that the drawer is closed. Any ideas why it would start the cycle normally and then stop later in the cycle?
