Model is GSD6700. We had a power outage and possible surge the other night and now no lights on the panel light when you close and lock the door.
The start/reset button does nothing. I have already reset the breaker at the main, even left it off for more than 15 minutes, and checked for power at where the dishwasher is connected to the circuit. I took the control panel off and looked around, but saw nothing obviously fried or smelled anything burnt. Wasn't sure what else I could check.
Do these dishwashers have an internal breaker that can be reset somehow? I couldn't find anything about it online.
I'm guessing something got toasted. I lost a surge protector on the TV, etc too. What's the best way to isolate the part to possibly fix it?
I paid $110 for this thing used, so if it's going to cost more than that to fix on my own, tell me now and I'll just scrap it.
Thanks!

Sounds like either control module fried or key pad is bad. Either one is around $80 to $90 each. Your call.

Thanks a lot. So is there a chance it's something else? Probably no return on that if it doesn't fix it, eh?

I just wanted to thank all of you. The new controller did the trick!
And, for anyone else wondering about this in the future, one sure way to tell if your controller got fried is to take it out and remove the cover to view the electronics. Part of the board and some of the capacitors(?) were black.
